Dolphin Tips: Smarter and Faster Browsing

Dolphin Browser Tips: Smarter and Faster Browsing

Today, we’d like to share a couple more tips to help you get the most out of your Dolphin Browser: link behavior and startup options. Hopefully, these tips will make your web surfing easier and more productive.

Dolphin Browser Link Behavior

Following links and jumping from page to page can be time consuming. Dolphin Browser provides a few options on navigating the web. You can opt to open links in a new tab (and go there immediately), open links in a background tab for later perusal, or go with the default set by each site. Choose the option that best suits your browsing habits. Do you compulsively on every interesting link you come across in a Wikipedia article? Opening in a background tab may be best for you. If you want to go straight to the link and save on time, then opening in a new tab may be the path to take.

Most people simply don’t have enough time to leisurely read or watch everything they’d like. It’s a shame, really. However, in the name of saving you some time, Dolphin lets you start each session exactly where you last left off. Even if you accidentally close the browser mid-session, there’s no need to retype URLs or searches – everything will be there until you manually exit the page. That important work email, those ever-changing stock quotes, and that hilarious cat video – all retained for your browsing convenience.
