    almost perfect
Does exactly what its supposed to and the permissions aren't rapey like most other led apps. Only thing i would change is to have a setting option where you can keep the light from going off after a few minutes. I'm not sure if that's a phone or application safeguard, but it would be nice to be able to toggle it off

    No special permissions required
I love apps that just do their job, without needing access to everything else on my device. This one just needs access to your camera, in order to use the flash. Some flashlight apps require access to Internet and contact lists! Ridiculous!

    Cool deal
Not only does it work with my moto x 2 gen it is only 200kb app in size. Unlike the #1 downloaded flashlight app in the play store at almost 13mb and there are 2 permissions uses camera and vibration for on and off positive feeling. No ads. All around a basic light when you need one!

    Easy to use
You flip the thing up. Light comes on. No ads! That dude down there said it shut off his phone... dude needs a new phone... lolz!

    Simple and wonderful.
Doesn't ask for ridiculous permissions like virtually all other light apps. Simple, quick, and to the point. Right now my only problem is that if the screen times out or is shut off on my phone it turns the light off too. Don't think it did that on my old model, but would be nice to see fixed either by preventing screen turn-off or persisting operation threw an off screen. I'll easily bump up to 5 if that gets fixed.

    No work-y on the 'MAXX
To be fair, it is said in description that it may not work for all phones. So I will not be like the idiots that give one star cause their phone no work-IEEE....BUT...IT SHOULD WORK FOR A FLAGSHIP PHONE OF MOTOROLA AND VERIZON...THE DROID RAZR MAXX. FIX NOW. XOXO.

    Utility is the key.
As just a light, there's nothing to say about brightness. All light apps call the maximum luminescence of any phone's light. As for this one, the kicker that makes it a better utility than others I've tried is the widget. A very simple single-icon-sized widget that can be used to turn on/off the light without having to open the actual app! Epic! It also does so without any ridiculous splash pages or prompts to do anything else. Truly and simply useful.

The best flashlight app I have found. It's perfect
Does what it is supposed to do and nothing else. Settings are amazing. Simply perfect! There is a small delay (~1.5 sec) before it switches on, but that's normal. Widget design is nice as well - dark icon uses even less battery on dark wallpaper. I will definitely donate to the developer. ONE THING: please add something to the name of the paid app to know which is which in case both apps would get installed at the same time.. No more long journeys navigating the correct setting to turn light on. I love the way you can resize icon and remove its text. Thank you! " SAM S Advance (GT-9070)"

    Simple. Bright. Priceless (literally)
Great app, I'm surprised I actually had to look for a flash light app for twenty minutes before finally finding one that takes advantage of the LED. The update got rid of a terrible glitch that would happen if I let the phone lock while the LED was on, so now I love it even more :D

    Does the job
Works but behaves strangely on my evo lte. When the widget is turn it on, the phone goes to the show all home screen/zoomed out view which is not intended behavior.

Work around, for Droid X2 users
After running the app the phone shuts down after 15 seconds then reboots. The workaround is to run another program while the light is on and it will stay lit indefinitely.

This is the best LED light app.
It's finally got ICS compatibility! Just saw the update a moment ago and almost teared up from the happy. I actually kept this app installed on my Nexus S after the ICS update broke it just so I would know when I could use it again. The plan worked!! Not a moment too soon..

So far it works great on my galaxy s3. Only problem I've noticed is the light shuts off as soon as my screen does. That is the only reason i didn't give a5 star rating. Other than that the intensity of the light is amazing!

Doesn't work on my Samsung Note 3
<Update: Reset phone and works fine! > on previous phones including HTC and Samsung Galaxy Note 2. However, I just get an error on the Note 3 says goes "cannot connect to camera". Appreciate a fix as when it works, this app is brilliant!
  • John Gilvin
This app doesn't have the unnecessary permission requirements as other flashlight apps. My only qualm is how it turns off when the phone sleeps/times out and/or doesn't keep the phone awake.

Does exactly what it says. Nothing else
Works great on my galaxy ace. No silly distractions like strobe sos etc just turns the led on and off plus no annoying ads

    Useful widget
A little slow on current phone, but it worked flawlessly on all previous ones. Also, widget is not available for use on lock screen on HTC DROID DNA.

    Great, but needs styling
Only looks great on Sense. Ugly on Stock shell (XPeria). Would donate if Stock style was supported. Also would be great if screen brightness was set to minimum during flash light is on

    Best light app
I always leave the flash light on when reading in the dark so that it won't hurt my eyes. This app would be better if it allows us to adjust the luminosity. Turning on the LED with the greatest luminescent after a long time leaves my phone burning hot and drains the battery.

    Moto g awesome!
Coming from Samsung didn't realize the light widget wasn't part of android. But this one is even better only takes one square, quick, no ads, no stupid pop ups for rating
  • Kumar Vikash
Don't fall for other over rated apps
This is all you need. It fires a flash light and that's it with no strings attached. the best part is the widget which does not invoke the whole app but is self sufficient and no hindrance to multitasking. To the developer thanks a lot. This is exactly what I was looking for.

    Sleek and Efficient
This flashlight is ad free, clean and smooth. Not only it has an easy access widget, it runs great when the screen powers down! A++
  • Tom Morris
Just as I said. Works on all the HTC devices I've used it on and does not attempt to use the still photo strove brightness (unsafe). You can leave it on all the time without risk, though on some phones the hardware will force the light off again when the screen turns off.
  • Doncho Gunchev
Turns on the led as promised. The shake to turn on/off works even without unlocking. Brilliant! A few bugs though... Free, no adds or unnecessary permissions, small size...
