Ham radio Awesome app. I can sign onto nets in another state that is 2 meter! I love this app!

GREAT App! Very well done. There's no better way to stay connected to your radio club while traveling and to connect to new radio club nets. One of my favorite apps. My only request would be the ability to set notifications for when specific conferences reach a certain number of people.

    Great app
Works well on the galaxy s6. It would be nice to have the screen with all the callsigns of the people on a node while you TX so you can see them. Do we really need a full screen microphone? Maybe a pop-up vu meter with a button for TX

I can't load it on my android. It says it's compatible, but also says it is already installed. Unfortunately I can't find the EchoLink ICON nor can I find it in my installed apps. Apparently there is a JAVA code error on the WEB site that if a load fails, it simply says it's already installed, you can't delete something that's not there so that it can be restarted. Help! OK, so here's an update, after contacting EchoLink support and trying multiple times, I was successful in downloading the software and now I'm a happy camper. Don't understand what changed, but this made me very happy.

I've not been able to find documentation.
Where are the instructions on using Bluetooth connectivity? Both of my issues have been addressed, but it's still touchy about hands free operation with the Bluetooth headset. What button is the PTT on the headset? Mine either wants to play music or do voice command.

    Works as described
Have some trouble connecting with 4G, so used public proxy and connection works, had same problem on PC though , no other issues found, 73 de KM4QKW

    Nice version for mobile.
Very good app. An excellent balance of features and ease of use, for when you're not able to use the PC software. My only issue has been with having connection problems on busy conference servers, which requires restarting the app to resolve. I've been using it for several years and it's been a lot of fun.

    Amazing, MUST HAVE
Made my first DX contacts with this, wish there was a premium version, I'd buy it to support this great work. Call audio was geeat, wish there were more options like what frequency your on to log QRZ contacts. You guys made a real winner here, 73! KE8DEE

If only the computer version worked
Love the app, great way to use the radio if your equipment goes down, not practical for emergency communication, but it is a great way to work the world without spending 7,000 dollars starting out.

    Great Application.!!
Terrific application and I totally enjoy it. One bit of caution however. Do Not Use your smartphone for validation, use a PC. 73's and enjoy.!!

Echolink works very good, but its downfall it doesn't seem to have a provision to reset password if you forget password or hints to help you remember password. I had my screen fixed on my Samsung tablet. They whipped my passwords, so now I can't get back on echolink!

this app works very well when I'm sitting and lounging in my chair at my TV by my living room it is very comfortable to communicate with other amateurs without having to go to the ham shack or to the motor vehicle to communicate with a radio. I don't need a big linear amplifier to communicate around the world I can hit Korea repeaters China repeaters Japan repeaters in San Juan and communicate with amatures around the world

    Keeps re-starting
It's nice that the headphone option was added. Still can't use node numbers (or even see them) with the app. I've read the instructions on how to close the app, but it keeps restarting over and over again until force closed or phone is re-booted.

    Works all the time
I use this app when I travel to access an Echolink repeater near home. It's great to be able to stay in touch with my ham buddies when away from home.

The UI isn't the most user friendly, but it's easy enogh to navigate and use.

    Reliable and Intuitive
Been using this app for many years and it has never failed me. For those who can't get it to work, please show some class and use the contact email to request support before leaving a poor review. Tnx/73!

    HT in your pocket
I use this app to talk to everything from local to out of country repeaters. I love that I can use this app to keep in touch with my local radio clubs on trips far beyond the repeaters range and at the same time I can talk to hams in others country's. This is not a replacement to amateur radio but it is a amazing compliment

Not bad for a smartphone implementation
But it would be really nice to be able to search a specific node by either node number or callsign. Trying to find a node using the list gets tedious.

    Works great but.....
I love this app and purchased an android phone mainly because I wanted echolink on my phone. I have simplex node at my house and I can log into it from pretty much anywhere now. Only problem is, I can't get it to work with my bluetooth headset on my S3. I can use handset audio or speaker audio but not the blutooth headset. It would be 5 stars if I could get that to work. Edit: I now have a Galaxy S4 and the new bluetooth option doesn't work right. A great app if the bluetooth would work right.

    Android 6.0.1
Did not work at first. No idea why, but tried a few hours later and it was fine. Great little app for keeping in touch with friends.

    Great App!
Loads easily! No problems whatsoever. Great to keep in contact with places you no longer live in. As for problems.... obviously operator error.
