    Live saver app
I always check this app before heading out. Even if you're not going in the back country it's good to know what the risk level is at.
  • Josh Dukes
    Great app
It's a great way for me to check the avalanche forecast in the morning before heading out. No more having to dial in to the hotline and listen in the phone.
  • Devin Earl
Great app to check avalanche forecast on the go
Living in Utah where avalanche conditions can be rather tricky Utah Avalanche Center is great and to have the app to check things on the go especially if I have been busy and haven't had time to follow the snow conditions its an easy way to get most of the information I need before heading out into the backcountry.
  • Brandon Craig
Necessity for back country travel. Love it especially when I live at 8200 feet. Lobe being able to view other states as well. Great app highly recommend!
  • Jim Young
Good basic program does whats promised. It would be sweet to include forecasts from other countrys, maybe have function to add a forcast region? Also a manual 'offline cache' would be nice? Overall good
  • andy dolecek
Gives a easy to navigate entry to local av centers information. Some mention problems with the CAIC, but I only noticed that around the time that they changed their site. It seems to work fine now. GS3.
  • JoMon Keelan
This app is perfect for me up in Vail because it gives me the daily conditions and CAIC is always right with the snow conditions!!
  • Dane Argan
Does everything the app says very well. Makes it more convenient to follow trends for someone who doesn't get out enough such as myself.
  • Justin Peterson
It doesn't cover everything, but it seems like new features are still being added all the time so I went ahead and gave it 5 stars.
  • Sean MacDougall
    Pretty good
Great app, a little lag on the map, and a mobile page for the detailed report would be nicer to have, but still really handy to have
  • Jeremy Maimon
    Great app
Up to date information & pretty accurate. Granted weather & conditions are always changing this app gives you a good guide line of conditions.☆☆☆☆☆ remember to use you head to make the right judgment call. Dig your snow pits, carry a probe, & have fun out there.
  • Grace Rich
So great to have this knowledge!
It's a great resource to be able to hear from people with everyday, first hand knowledge about what's going on to help us make informed decisions about going out to the backcountry. Thanks UAC!
  • Jason Curtis
    No offline support
Cool unification of several services; basically just links to the detail pages from various services. I use it with NWAC. I would love if it had offline/sync support so you could check the conditions even after you've left cell reception.
  • Tim Pierce
    Accurate Information
Good layout. Easy to use. I use it to gauge avalanche danger before skiing or snowboarding trips.
  • Ryan Nelson
Works great. Especially helpful for people who travel and are unaware of web sites for regions they are planning to tour. Good interface and quite useful.
  • Rick Hammack
    Excellent resource
Needs to be a little more mobile friendly. Avy reports etc appear like they do on a computer and are not formatted for phones. Just a minor gripe. Everything else is really helpful and well made.
  • Ivo Jasek
    Best Avalanche app
Great app. Easy to use yet can give you all the detailed information with a simple tap on the area you want. Couldn't be designed better.
  • Darryl Olson
    Great Application
Concise and descriptive summary of the danger, avalanche problem, snowpack and weather forecast. The NWAC application doesn't work as well as this one
  • Sebastien Brisebois
Awesome support and works like a charm :)
And they were super quick at fixing a broken link due to an external website changed :-) +1 and half to that!
  • Gaetano Settineri
My go to app for back country travel planning
Great for getting avalanche information on the go, which is especially helpful when a computer is not readily accessible.
  • OHV Education
Nice quick reference. I teach Snowmobile based avalanche awareness classes for the State of Idaho and use often. Any chance in linking the Payette and Pan Handle centers in Idaho?
  • Jeremy Shier
    Good app
Links right to the CAC forecast. Can't wait till CAC makes their widget/app though as it will. Make this obsolete for me.
  • Jeffrey OTool
A must have tool for the mountains
This has been a great tool for monitoring the avalanche risk, especially when you live away from the mountains and want to prepare for a trip snowmobiling! Avoiding high risk days in avalanche terrain keeps you alive for the next trip.
  • Lindsay Thomas
    Universal, consistent, effective tool.
I love that I can check avy conditions in Washington, Wyoming, and BC all in one place. Reports are accessible, succinct, and helpful for supplementing my back country decision.
  • Nathan Kuder
    Easy access
Easy access to forecasts across the west. When you're planning to travel to different areas throughout the winter, there's no better way to track their snowpack development.
  • Stan Tse
    Useful tool
Good to have. Remember to turn on airplane mode to avoid interference with your beacon!
