    Great app. Needs a timer.
Can you add a timer to the app effect. i.e. It will keep the phone unlocked for 30 min and than it will lock again. Similar to iPhone. Android seems to me missing that feature. Also please disable volume keys from wake up/unlocking. These will make it perfect.

    Fixed 3rd Party Lockscreen Issue.
I'm currently using ZUI Locker as my lock screen but the default Android one kept also showing over it. This app disabled it while still letting me use ZUI. Perfect problem solving app, thanks!

    Very useful
I decided to activate the pattern lock on my Galaxy S3 Mini. Problem is, I got tired of having to trace the pattern each time I wanted to use my phone at home. Options to disable locking automatically didn't work. This app works very well. Aside from the issue of the lock screen coming up after accessing an app from the notifications bar, it seems to work great. The work-around from another reviewer of enabling the lock and then going to the notification bar is easy to do. Thanks for a great app!

    I like it!
Its good and get's the job done. However, I want the volume unlock for my phone. Sadly it doesn't work! :/ Dev please make the volume unlock available for the Samsung Galaxy Stellar if you can! 5 stars if you could do it for me! :)

    Thunderbolt battery saver??
I tried it for my Thunderbolt and I gotta say that I think it may have helped save massive battery power. My first day I barely made it to 7hrs, after disabling the lock screen, I made it to well over 12hrs then next day and only on once charge cycle. It may not be this app alone, but it'sworth a shot! Really simple and effective!

    Samsung Galaxy Mega - Doesn't work. :(
Just upgraded my phone to the new Samsung Galaxy MEGA and it no longer works for me. Even though this doesn't work on my new phone, its still worth a 5 star rating. I've used it for about 2 years now flawlessly and I realize this isn't an issue with the app but with my phone. This was by far my most used, most favorite app I have ever downloaded. I have gotten so used to the ease of quickly locking/unlocking my phone that I have been frantically searching for an app that does the same thing that will work. Unfortunately, nothing even comes close. I'm going to keep it installed on my Samsung SGH-M819N in hopes that at some point it starts working because it is still the best (only?!) quick lock/unlock app I have found!

    Simple Effective!
I couldn't get the hang of removing those locking circles that had to be removed on the first page of my Galaxy Note to access all the phone's features. This app overcomes any problems and allows me straight into my phone as soon as I've booted up. Excellent!

Does exactly what I wanted. Simple app. Nice easy to use widget. Spot on. Thanks! SGS3 on SlimBean ROM 4.2.1 stable v1 Update: doesn't work when selecting from notifications... goes to lock screen after you click a prompt. Still a very good app! Little niggle aside.

Works well but not with Android Pay
I use this on Droid Turbo. It worked well and is a very easy way to keep phone from locking. I have learned that Android Pay app cancels it out and will not let you have screen unlocked. No Android Pay = Great working No Lock.

    Great for Gingerbread or below.
Turns out the lock screen can be disabled in ICS right out of the box so I no longer need No Lock. This app works exactly as it should. Just keep in mind that volume key-presses will wake your device up. This is no quirk of the app but I guess it's the system, therefore cannot be fixed. It happens in ICS too even without this app. Also keep in mind that if you run a (automatic) task killer, exclude this app from its killed tasks. Otherwise the lock screen will keep showing up.

    HTC Vivid
I installed this app yesterday and it works great. The only things that aren't working so well for me is that sometimes the lock screen randomly pops up on me, and also that when I turn my screen off and back on when I'm on the homescreen the apps and widgets disappear until I go to one of my other screens by sliding my finger. If this gets fixed soon I would definitely give this app the 5 stars.

    Galaxy S4 KK 4.4.2
Works on my phone. Removed the app icon and put the widget on a home screen. Whitelisted the app in Memory Booster so it doesn't get killed. Is not a permanent setting. On boot, locking is enabled, but tapping the widget changes it to orange and the phone displays a message "Locking Disabled". Sure enough, phone does not lock on screen dim or by pressing power button. Small, simple app that does what I had hoped. I have OS updates disabled, and have no intention of upgrading to Lollipop.

I run FoxFi to tether with WiFi. This automatically makes your phone lock when the screen is shut down. The only way to get the no lock screen was to disable the app each time. But now this app solves all my problems. I don't see the point in locking a screen unless serious security is an issue. And most phones these days don't turn on and dial by accident anymore. Anyways, this is an excellent and simple way to disable the lock feature.

    Fit the need perfectly
I prefer not to use the lock screen. After I upgraded my Atrix to Gingerbread, my screen lock toggles (a couple of different ones) would disable the lock screen, but then 15 minutes later the lock screen would be back. What an annoyance! No Lock took care of it. Simple, effective, and free! Doesn't get much better than that.

    Change of review
Very handy when you don't want your phone to lock such as at home at night. Worked on my DHD, and is fine on my S3lte. New version now btw. Sadly if you go through notifications it still requires unlocking

Works great on Samsung Galaxy s4 mini
I love this app, it simply works! One request for the author: Could you please add the option to create shortcuts (not widget) - one to disable lock and the other to enable lock? I use Llama profiles and there's an option to run an app when some condition is met. So I can set Llama to disable lock - by running "No Lock - disable shortcut" when I'm home for example. The built in feature "disable lock" in Llama doesn't work for me. Anyway great work!

    Does the job!
I have a samsung YP-G70, which came with my samsung smart tv. I've never used it much, but after getting a newer receiver and a logitech harmony link, I use it as a remote for all my different systems. Being able to disable lock screen has made everything a bit easier. Thanks!

    Samsung Galaxy S4
Easy to use, efficiently straightforward & no ads! Loved it as a widget. Worked great (5 stars) in Android 4.4 KitKat. However, since update to Android 5.0 Lollipop this app's current version no longer seems compatible. Would very much like to come back to this app again, when/*IF* updated. (This app's last update seems to date back to 2011 so either an excellent build or no longer being maintained...)

    Great to date.
Just installed as a workaround for a bad botton on Galaxy S Captvate. Now I will use ir on any phone with a slide unlock. Very slick and convenient to just hit the volume down key and be active. Nice job amd I'll post foiiow up. Thanx!

    Samsung GalaxyS Blaze 4G (TMO)
Awesome! Works as described! Haven't rooted yet as I'm waiting for Cyanogen to come to my handset and this handy app fixed the lockscreen! It says it doesn't support all phones but it does mine...totally worth the download!

I hated the new android lockscreen, but wasn't sure about using this app. No need to worry, it is great. So simple and it makes perfect sense. The snooze/dismiss didn't work for me on the lockscreen, now it sorted. *UPDATE* the volume buttons also unlock the phone which isn't great, lose 1 star

    Perfect for my note i717
Just bought one of those case with front cover for my galaxy note. This is what I had to do get to my screen. Open case -> Press power button -> Swipe the screen to unlock. Oh man.. that's was such a pain just to send a simple text message. Initially I really wanted screen to turn on automatically when I open my case. I tried various proximity sensor unlocking app but absolutely none of them worked. Later I found out galaxy note's proximity sensor is designed really poorly. So my next option was to open the cover and just press power button once. This app worked perfectly. Screen turns on instantly when power button is pressed. I absolutely have no issues with volume button as some people mentioned. Had to give 5 star.

    Best one out there
Found this and used on my HTC Droid. Just purchased a new Droid (Samsung) and looked for this kind of app again. All the others were confusing. This is by far the best and easiest "no lock" app to setup! And it's free! Thanks!
    Liked it first
Im giving 4stars because it works only sometimes . For ex .when i off my phone then start it again the normal lock screen appears even when it is disabled.... Please fix this issue on android desire 500 dual sim..
