App Reviews for Lenovo Vibe Z

    Works OK nothing fantastic
This app gets your Swann system available for Android devices. The caveat here is ensuring your settings are for Mobile and you enter your Mobile port number in the Port field (defaulted from your DVR). Also, be mindful of whether or not you are on your local network (private IP address) vs a non-local network ( public IP address). So enter either your public or private IP address in the Server field. There is also no need to append your Web port number to the IP address as you will enter the Mobile port number. Ensure you have a user name (same as on the DVR) and you should be good to go.

    Works as needed
This app does exactly what I need it to do. All I wanted was to be able to view my home video cams on my Nexus 7 and it fulfills that need. It is not fancy and comes with no real setup instructions but is simple enough to work through. The key for me to get this to work was to use my Mobile port. All the rest of the setup was the same as through the web.

    Needs better guides
I've set up so many of their 8 camera systems its second nature to me. If your having issues with this app or your system maybe you should call someone to help

Great for checking on the house
Got a Swann DVR with two cameras for a good deal. It's nice to be able to check on the house from anywhere and would be handy for anyone that will be away from home for long periods. However, we replaced the cameras with better ones because the package cameras were terrible.

Works on my Samsung Note GTN7000B. Set up video needs updating as it was different and I had to guess my network set up a little. Have only tested at home on my local network yet to try over the internet. DVR4-2600 pro 4 camera system.

    Application snafus
Make sure you reboot the swann device after changes for network settings to work. . . I learned that the hard way. . . Worked seamless, choose static ip and port forward in router. . .

    Cant Beat it.
Short and sweet..I workrk for a major retail loss prevention store and did lots of the installs. With that being said install could not be easier. I needed Tech support for remote view and was walked through everything, the tech even did a remote session and made all needed changes for me Thank You Swann and Thank You for great customer service. A+ across the board. I have the eight camera system hooked to a 32' above my samsung 60' led looks good.. I also have Swannview running on my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 I am even able to use my cell as a hotspot and then use my tablet anyplace. Also each camera comes with 65 feet of cable, I bought extra and have to much however im going to keep it for future installs. And so far probably 3 months the durability is also outstanding. Again Thanks for a great and not over priced product.

    Highly delighted
This is a fantastic app. Works perfectly with my Swann DVR91425 system and I found it easy to set up. Works well on wifi and on data stream from my Nexus 4 mobile on EE standard network. Also found the support from Swann to be first rate. Cannot understand the bad comments about it, that's not my experience.

    Samsung S4 running lollipop 5.0.1
For some reason this app now works perfectly. I'm able to see all my cameras and control my three dumb cameras everything that's described and mentioned that works perfectly. Not sure what I did to get the app to finally work but it seems to be working on both my LAN and WAN Networks.

    Works great
Looks like they removed the ads... An app you pay $500+ to use with shouldn't have ads. It works great. Fast frame rate, work everytime, good interface too. A little tricky to setup, hence some people having problems. You got to close the app properly in order to save changes. It would be awesome if there was access to recordings.

    Nice but little buggy.
App sometimes makes your unit freeze when you click to fast from cam to cam. Maybe a connection bug. You then have to hard reset your unit. Otherwise handy, hopefully they will fix this.

    Great free App
I can monitor any 4 cameras out of 8 at a time. Double click a camera and the App brings up the video full screen. Only negative is I lost connection and couldn't connect 1 time. Had to uninstall the App and reinstall. No big deal. Love this App.

    Not Bad Not Great
I use tech support a lot for this system and app. Found out 3/4 of the trouble I was having was caused by my ISP. Swann set me up with a DNS server. Now remote viewing on web works great. I have found tech support to be very patient and willing to take time to go step by step with me. I will say that the cameras that came with 4 channel system are not great. I have upgraded the cameras from another company, needed better night vision.

Could not connect to cameras after upgrading. I messed with the settings and figured out that you can only have ONE item per DVR in your device list.

    Swann link on galaxy s6
After having a iPhone and a windows phone which was easy to set up on a remote app. Found the app for galaxy s6 more frustrating. If people are struggling just email swann but it might take them a few days to get back to you . Or call them they know there stuff .

    Works well.
Serves its purpose. The appearance is nice as well. If your having troubles connecting make sure the DVR is setup to accept 3g connections and that the right ports on your router are open. I found them in my dvr's manual.

Galaxy Nexus - jelly bean. Working in about 30 seconds
I got this working in about 30 secs. Enter your external IP as the sever address and 18004 port for mobile, username and PW u setup and bingo. Double press the large squares to add the camera you want. Can watch 4 cams at the same time. If u need help and in London I can help.
