App Reviews for Lenovo Vibe Z

Easy to use but needs more work
I use this app in conjunction with my Obi110. It's very easy to get working. Calls from this app are routed through my Obi110 box at home. When my home phone rings, so does this app on my mobile. However, there is no auto start setting on the app. You have to remember to load it or get a third party app to do it for you.

Does what it claims, with a few bugs
Works alright, needs update to fix annoying problems such as not being able to use the speaker phone even though there is a button for it. Also could use better integration with my phone book and it would be nice if the call relay function (calling the ObiHai to place a landline call) could be more automated (like having a dedicated button to place a relay call), but it allows me to make free calls and it's the only system I'm aware of that easily integrates with google voice, so it gets 5 stars for that.

Good if you know how to setup
This app does have a bad IU and doesn't seem to support landscape mode on DROID. However, I had an issue with authentication at first too after making some changes to my OBI100. I would suggest logging in on your computer and updating/reinstalling the latest firmware...fixed it for me. I have this ringing to my home phones and cell phone simultaneously and can direct dial with two separate GV numbers without the AA. It randomly crashes with an incoming cell phone call through Verizon. It's free!!!

    Works Well
Decent app, works well over WiFi... When attempting to utilize over 3G quality is not great but that's not the fault of the application. It's Sprint's fault because their 4G coverage is useless. [Nexus S 4G, ICS 4.0.4]

    Works well for me
Maybe I'm lucky - but it seems to work well for me. Does everything as I would expect. Only thing I haven't figured out is how to get it to use the speakerphone - but no big deal. I haven't tried while out of the USA, but with a fast Wi-Fi connection, hopefully I'll be able to make calls at zero or low rates. --MyTouchSlide4g

    Well... okay, I guess.
It does what it says it will do so you have to give at least 3 stars for that. A definite battery hog. And what must be one of the world's worst UI. However, it does work (not very well over 3g but I don't believe that to be the apps fault) I give it 3.5 stars or a 4 for the benefit of the doubt. For those that may not know the user name to login to this app will be your email address that you've setup with Obitalk.

    Great, but limited
Folks giving this a low rating don't know what it is! If you don't have an OBi SIP adapter, don't rate this app!!! It's not perfect, but it lets me make free Google voice calls via my home OBi box without using any airtime minutes! That's pretty great, despite the slightly clunky interface and the occasional bad connection. I am quite happy with this!!

    Check your password
Caution, app won't login if you have a password with certain punctuation/characters in it, even if that password works in the browser. Once I simplified my account password I could get the app to login and it works just fine after that. Issue for me is the speakerphone doesn't work, other than that, made a call with decent sound quality over WiFi for testing purposes on two different devices. Also, I suspect some excess battery drain occurs if you don't exit the app...dead phone this morning that was left with this app only running last night, normally this phone lasts days uncharged.
