Great app to replace my paper checkbook register. I use this for all of my accounts from multiple institutions so I always know my total balance. I have not had any response when emailing the developer with questions/comments, but still a great app. I will change my rating to 5 Stars if 1) they would add a search function, 2) they would add the ability to total the current & available balances of all my accounts and display them at the bottom of the home screen, and 3) keep a running balance next to every entry like a normal checkbook register. Good design, and very user friendly. I use this app multiple times daily.
Loved It...Until I Upgraded My Phone
This is my go-to ledger app. I always relied on it. When I upgraded to the Galaxy S5 I was no longer able to put in scheduled transactions. Six months later I decided to try again, but I still couldn't put in scheduled transactions. Sorry guys... I hope there's a fix for this soon because all other simple checkbook apps don't come close.
I just got my very first smart phone so this app is very helpful. I would like to see more options on Scheduling future transactions, like a every two weeks thing. I know most of bills are once a month but I have some that come out every two weeks when I get paid. So for right now I will say 4 Stars, but I will change it to 5 Stars if its updated to schedule future transactions every two weeks. Thank you and keep up the good work.
This is all that I need! Very simple & easy to use. By far the best checkbook app that I have ever used! The only reason that I rated it 4 stars is that it doesn't have the option to schedule weekly deposits & automatic withdraws. Plus it would be nice if you had an option to remind you of an upcoming withdraw. Other than that I love it! Thanks for making this app & please put out an update to at least schedule weekly transactions? Thanks, Mark
Really helpful app
I love this app. It allows me to keep an accurate balance of my accounts without any of the "Pending" charges and other stuff online. I can also take out the bills early that are taken out on a certain day so I know how much I REALLY have to spend. I have certain reoccurring charges. For the note section where you write a description, maybe and auto-suggest based on previous descriptions so I don't have to type it over and over? Also, auto-capitalize wouldn't be amiss, but that could just be my phone.
Love the app and miss it
We just switched to new androids and now I can't use this app. The os settings button was built into the app. With the new os, the settings button no longer exists, so I can't even import my old data or use basic functions. Will the app be updated soon? I purchased this app and would appreciate knowing when I can start using it again.
Almost that is except for the fact that the app does not have the option to chose where backups are stored or retrieved from. It would be great if I could store my backups on my microSD card so if my phone becomes unusable I can install the app on a new phone and restore my data from the SD card where I left it. don't you think?

Needs Tags instead of Categories
Transactions often fall into more than one category but the app allows you to choose only one category for each transaction. If the data model were edited to allow users to assign transactions to multiple categories, that would be much more useful than the current one transaction : one category set up. They usually call that using tags, so you might as well change the name of the feature to tags, which would help you publicize such an improvement more easily. Also, I agree with comments about the Scheduled Transactions feature: it needs more flexibility. (Weekly, biweekly, quarterly, annually. Check out the approach in Google Calendar for scheduling recurring/repeating Calendar events.)
All I needed
Was looking for something simple to replace my paper ledger. This was it. Easy to enter transactions does just what is needed. Only holds 120 transactions then oldest one is dropped. I have no problems with this app. If I needed to look back further, I need to go to my bank. To app is perfect and perfectly simple
NO MORE ACCIDENTAL OVERDRAFTS!!!
Keeping track of my transactions on this app helps so much. It's real tracking. I can always trust my balance. Not like banks that give you your available balance and then say they removed a transaction and put it back later.... That's why I got overdrafts. I would look at my balance and trust them.... No more! I enter my transactions and they don't go anywhere. MY BALANCE IS ALWAYS TRUE. LOVE IT!!!! (And this app doesn't need to go into your private business on your cell)
I really like this app, but there's something I don't understand: why can you put things into categories if you can't generate a report?! I've been tracking my spending very thoroughly because I thought I could see where I'm spending money the most to see if I can do better next month. It doesn't have to be fancy. Just a category name with a $ amount and a date range would be great!

Great streamlined app
I had tried this app initially and was greatly satisfied but then went and purchased another (moola) because it seemed to have more bells and whistles. I came back to this immediately. The appeal is its simplicity and user-friendly interface. It just runs really smooth while the other apps I tried forced close all the time and basic features didn't even work. There's a reason this is the highest rated check book app. Some graphs would be nice though. Hopefully they add something like that in future updates

Never overdraw again; always know what you have!
I love this app. I'm 23 and live on a tight budget with my boyfriend, and I use this thing religiously. Every single time I use my debit or credit card, I immediately put the purchase in my phone and automatically mark everything as cleared, so I always know how much money I have. I also like to round everything up to the nearest dollar, like those "keep the change" programs some cards have, so I usually end up with a little more in my account than I think I have (just in case!). Very, very handy, especially if you live paycheck-to-paycheck and want to always know how much you have in this account, that account and how much you owe on your credit card. If everyone that is in debt or getting close to it had this app and used it daily, I really think a lot of people would save themselves money and overdraft fees. So simple, but so useful!

Love this app... out of all the checking apps I've tried...only issues I have are: there is only a monthly input option so adding items weekly, ect is impossible without adding multiple transactions of same item...and there is no option to add transaction to today's date without having to change whole setting of transaction. If those two items were added it would be top notch! Thanx for considering added those awesome features! Add: would love to see where balance is when I look at transaction info
I have used this app for years and it does exactly what I need. However I updated to the S6 Edge Plus and no longer have a menu key so I can't access categories or backup my data. I really don't want to look for a new checkbook app but I have to be able to export. Please add an in app menu key for newer phones

I have things that come every two weeks. Sometimes they post twice in one month and some months they come out three times. It would be nice to gave that flexibility weekly,bi-weekly, or monthly. Love the app though. Makes the debt life so much easer. Look forward to an update
Great app. wish there was an option to change frequency of scheduled transactions to something other than monthly. For example I have a set amount taken out if paycheck and sent to a separate account to help me save. be nice to be able to set that to bi-weekly resume on every Friday or something. Including this would be great- thanks.
For free it's well done. Some minor issues here and there. Would be nice to be able to add my own categories of type of charge rather than forced to use existing few. Also, doesn't display correctly when you tap to view an entry. But, so far, it looks like it will do the job. Just downloaded. Will upd after I get more time to use it.
