    Works!!!
Used on JB without any problems, was able to get MMS working. Don't blame the dev if you can't follow instructions and have no clue how APNs work.

    You rule!! Tks!!
Worked great on my GS4 on Kitkat. Just had to read exactly where to put app in system app in description.. :D Tks!!

    It works
If it doesn't it mean that you need the phone to be rooted and the app transferred to system for it to work.

    Love the idea.
Been having trouble with my apn lately, been trying to restore it, found this great app and sad to say it isn't compatible with android 4.0 + Still giving five stars because if it were compatible with my version of android, my apn problems would be resolved.

    Good...
So... now I can backup my useless APN settings, then edit, then restore 'em back?... How? Just like that?... Over writing? I haven't done anything yet, though, if that's the case, this is just what I needed!... Is it...?

This application works perfectly. for those of you running into any issues, you have to make sure you convert this to a system application with titanium backup, and you have to put this into the priv-apps folder instead of the regular apps folder, if you do that you will not run into any issues.

Great app but it gives READ_PHONE_STATE permission error on stock htc 816.
Please fix it. Thanks. Fixed data issue with Reliance Cdma ruim enabled phone by adding(restoring from an xml file for Reliance cdma) the apn.

    Fixed my MMS
After flashing ROMs I usually lose my MMS. This app is the only thing that got it back. Boost Mobile Moto G CDMA by the way. Thanks :)

    Works
App can be converted to a system app not only with Titanium Backup. Just use any file manager with root permisions to explore and write and move apk from /data/app to data/app-system or to /system/app. One plus for this app: totally free, no ads. One minus to this app:backup/ restore and delete APNs are made in group not separately.

DIDNT REALIZE THE VALUE OF THIS APP UNTIL NOW. VERY HANDY!
This is a must-have app used for backing up and to restore any internet connection issues you may encounter. Restoring from your backup will be a lifesaver! I agree with @AJ_Labretto! YESπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

    Simple and efficient app
Having problems changing or deleteing APNS with this app with Android ICS ?, here is how I've done it. 1.Root your phone. 2.Install this app. 3.Install Titanium Backup. 4.Open Titanium Backup and navigate to Backup/Restore tab. 5.Find APN Backup and Restore and long press it - an option list should appear. 6.Select from that list "Convert to sys aplication". 7.Reboot phone. 8.Open APN Backup and Restore, press phone's menu button and select "Disable ICS Check". Now you can fully use this app.

    Adverts were OK!
A good app. I had no problem with the adverts being added. The developer has a right to make some money from their app. At least they weren't push notifications (this would have been unforgivable). Oh well, the adverts have gone again, so everyone should be happy now (and grateful).

    Must have app
this app will save your life when on Ting and wanting to install a new rom. Note on JB you must use titanium backup to make a system app, reboot, then in the apps settings disable the ICS check

    Galaxy SII-ICS
It works.First needs to be converted to system application with Titanium Backup Pro and than applied disable ICS option.I have to put my phone in airplane mode in order to restore successfully the backup file.

    Do what it's name says!
I need to manually set the APNs and this app save a lot of hassles for me! Yeah it's do work! ;-)

    COMMON SENSE
This is a great app if you need to send/receive pic messages for a custom rom that was made for a different carrier. (Flashing verizon rom on alltel in my case.) Just download apn zip file for your carrier and put the zip in this apps folder then delete other apns and restore the one u want. It does work for rooted phones and ics with instructions for ics above. Please study these things before putting negative comments.

    Worked like a champ!
Great App! Too bad ICS is taking away freedom to control ones own phone - I suspect it's for "our own good" though... not! Thanks for the great app!

    APN Backup
Potential to be great, just does not for Android 4.0 or higher. Workaround that and have a paid for version and we're good. Did not work on Galaxy Note 2

    Great app
App does what it says tin, and developer is very responsive to issues/concerns. As a note, I don't mind ads in free apps, however there are ways of adding them without needing my phone's identity. :)

    Brilliant! Works like a charm.
Just followed the instructions. Rooted phone, Android 4.3, convert to system app using Titanium Backup Pro, disable ICS check, and it is perfect. Very helpful to preserve vital APN info when flashing custom ROM. For Android 4.4.2 you need to move the APK to the /system/priv-app directory using Root Explorer to make it work.
  • Beau Bollier
    Needs APN Write Permission
I moved the app from user to system, with TB, and disabled ICS check but it still doesn't work. It needs the permission "write_apn_settings". (I'm running CM 11 android 4.4.2). I also confirmed that the .apk is in the system/privapp folder. Help?
  • Cliff Clark
    Not working on Android 4.4
I ran v1.7 as a system app and it worked on ICS and JB. The latest update v1.9 doesn't work on CM11 even after moving to /system/priv-app. Offline Sim APN Database works on CM11, was able to get MMS working on Evo LTE on Pageplus...for anyone trying to get MMS working on a flashed phone.
  • Charles Carroll
    Useful Tool
If you're on 4.4 or later & have root, just cut/paste from /data/app to /system/priv-app with a file explorer app & then reboot. Disable ICS check in app once rebootdd. Works perfectly for me.

    Please update this app!
This app would help many of us using lollipop to solve our APN issues with cyanogen and other ROM's.I would gladly pay to use that functionality, keep up the good work regardless! :)
  • Slim Sadie
    Still the Best!!!
For 4.4.x+ you MUST have root... you need to copy the apk to: "/system/priv-app/" and set the permissions to: "rw-r-r" then disable ICS check in the app. Works perfectly.
