    Surprisingly works
Working on Epic 4g on Sprint. Im very surprised how well it works and the speed is great. It even does images! Scrolling is smooth. Perfect in a pinch

    Nice concept, but...
Stuck on "Request sent. Waiting for response..." on Droid Charge on Verizon. I like that the dev added untested support for VZW, but it doesn't work.

Works great on T-mobile and is actually useable. It feels just a bit slower than EDGE speeds.

This is amazing. I thought of this idea myself way back when as well, but the implementation here is just FANTASTIC. I wonder why this does not have many more downloads.

    Good idea
Slow but it is free. Worked on my samsung Galaxy S2
  • Chad Young
I think the idea is brilliant!
If you have no data can't beat getting the www for free at the price of speeds resembling old dial up modems of the 90's... The concept of course is in beta so any coarks will have to be smoothed out and refined into its optimal potential in do time.

    Creative but..
My four stars are for the creativity and thinking outside of the box. Whit that said, it is painfully slow and make sure you have unlimited MMS.......

I thought of it first :-(
I have been trying to do this for longer than I can remember. Unfortunately... I don't have the problem solving skills required to make my app work properly. For example; I would have NEVER thought of using a server to handle all the app requests. I was trying to make the requests work using P2P tech.. Your creative thinking skills are second to none. P.S. That thing with the .PNG Files... Absolute genius

Would love for it to work!
I am using an unlocked Samsung galaxy y with a 15 dollar a month t-mobile UL text plan. Unfortunately smozzy never loads webpages, but gets stuck in retrieving the data from the text message. 4 stars because it's an awesome idea, and I would love for it to work. ( hope a fix will be out soon! )

    Good idea.
4 stars because it fails to decompress few sites especially the ones in Arabic.

    Why did you quit?
Genius idea, too bad you've given up on it.

It stopped in the decoding part and wouldn't progress, but 4 stars for the idea and attempt to get it working different carriers, virginmobile triumph

    Amazing concept, but
this does not work on my phone, it stays on,"sending request". Also, I won't vote bad since it is still a good app and it is probably just me, I also may be doing it wrong

    Problem displaying the page
I wish this would work on my aT&T Nexus 5. Downloading the page works fine, but the browser shows me the HTML source code; it doesnt display the page as it's supposed to look like. Please HELP.

    Works perfectly!
This is awesome, it is a little slow but it's free data!
  • Nick Osborne
It crashed after 2 pages load then I have to go into settings>app>smozzy>then force close and clear the cache before it will open

    Great Concept!
I have an unlimited data plan with T-Mobile but I just heard of this app and decided to give it a try. It is a really great concept but it is a little too slow for me. This would be a great app for someone who doesn't have data but needs to get data every once in a while.

Great app but I am having a problem...
I have a Galaxy S5 on Sprint with unlimited data but I love the concept and am a geek when it comes to stuff like this and wanted to try it. The problem isn't with the connection it's that the app just displays the raw HTML code and doesn't compile it into a usable web page. I can copy and paste the code and save it into a text file and open it as a web page just fine but that sort of defeats the purpose. It would be a rather easy fix to just add a webkit or if there is one in there then enable it.

    Pretty cool.
4 stars for concept. I took one away because it is still inconsistent. It is a beta though.. Evo 3d
