    Nice but small issues
Now let me get this strait, this is a great keyboard (I am using it to type this). It has the stock Android holo theme and looks identical to stock. I have had a great experience using this but it could be a little bit better. The globe icon on the keyboard messes me up quite frequently and the performance is a little slow. The file size is kinda big for a keyboard but it shouldn't bother you. Auto correct works OK but it could be better. Overall this is a great keyboard and you should definitely try it!

    Awesome
I like this keyboard 10x more than swiftkey, swype, or touchpal. I have had zero problems and the swipe predictions and auto correct are nearly flawless. I don't mind not being able to change themes and stuff like that it's great the way it is. Props to the Devs. You killed it.

    Next word suggestion not working?
Hi there! I've installed this on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Everything works great except for next word suggestion/prediction. No suggestions showing up at all at the top bar. Just blanks. Any ideas? Would give it 5 stars otherwise, for sure. In any event, thanks so much for making this keyboard available here.

    Better than Stock.
I love everything about this keyboard. I've memorized the layout but like another commenter said, the secondary characters are hard to see cause they're tiny and dark like the keys. Thanks dev!

    Brilliant keyboard..
I hate the HTC Sense keyboard with a passion, especially the Sense 5 board... Since the One is still quite new, I haven't seen any flashable zips for this, so this app truly is a life and sanity saver.. Thanks. (:

Thank you johntanmi. Also Daniel Ornelas for great instructions!
This is just what I needed. Bought a used phone and the OEM Swype (TM) would not work after a couple days. It notified me that certain permissions were missing. This solved it!

    Great port, could improve though.
Love the gesture input. But please make the add word to dictionary thing a bit less tedious. Right now two clicks are needed. One click should work. Please fix!

I never leave comments but this app is awesome
I switched from the iPhone to the Samsung Galaxy S3. I missed Swype when I got the iPhone, and missed the responsiveness of the iPhone's keyboard when i got my Galaxy. This keyboard combines the best of everything. I have no complaints. Could be the perfect keyboard.

    Excellent
The ability to use Android 4.2's keyboard in 4.1 is great. The gesture typing is a great addition. It's a shame you can't disable the default Android keyboard while using this (as you get a permanent notification any time you're typing to allow you to access the keyboard options in 4.1), but that's not the app's fault.

    Great keyboard!
I actually had the Nexus 4 for a month but the service was terrible. I went back to my verizon phone and got this keyboard and the 4.2 clock. This keyboard does talk to text even with no data signal! Love them!

More secure than Xperia default keyboard
Hooray! Am able to delete the last entered word in just one key press if you make a mistake after a swish. That function was broken in the Android 5.0 default keyboard on Xperia so I'm glad to find this Android 4.2 keyboard. This keyboard doesn't require internet permissions either which is good for those who wear tin foil hats.

    love it
It's a very nice application, swiping through gestures is a joy, but when it comes to prediction it lets me down, if i want to type my native language in english then it asks me to touch every single word twice so it can be saved, it would be better if it save words automatically(without asking me) when i type. And what if it could learn my language from my mobile's inbox and from other social networking sources. I think then it would be perfect. :).

    The best keyboard yet
If Swype and Swiftkey had a baby, this would be the result. Swype's failings are in poor word prediction and slow performance. Swiftkey makes up for the word prediction, but you lose the rapid input of Swype. With all of the features married together, it's almost perfect. It'll just take a while for me to get used to a different keyboard layout.

    Great Features
Exactly what I wanted and more! The ability to remove next word prediction AND; when the suggested word list (based on spelling) does not have the word you wanted, a single tap of the delete button removes the HOLE WORD! Android developers really dropped the ball when they made you delete every letter of their suggested word and took the punctuation off the main keyboard. This keyboard resolves all that and more. Well done JOHNTANMI. Boo to you Android developers.

    Swype more accurate
Thanks for this keyboard. Not the authors fault but........When I swipe " three", it comes out as "the". No number row. No arrow keys. No flow through space. Silly floating word. Only three suggestions at a time with no highlighting of selected word. More accurate gesturing than many keyboards though.

    Samsung galaxy s4
Pretty good. But it doesn't always get your words correct. But way better thany stock keyboard; I love this app! One thing to change though is how to get to the word list that you have made or saved, because you might of saved a wrong word in the past.

    Missing symbols
I absolutely love the way this keyboard works. The prediction is perfect and it's so simple to use. It is so much better than the s3 keyboard HOWEVER I really dislike that it doesn't have all the symbols that the original keyboard has, such as hearts and stars. And as a girly girl that's a pretty big deal to me. Would be perfect if if I could insert hearts like in s3 keyboard. Very good app though.

    Perfect
This is the most perfect keyboard. I find it far superior to Swype because it's faster, smoother and just more fun to use. Also, it doesn't resize itself constantly like Swype does. The button sizes are perfect and everything is clear and easy to see. I'm going to put it on my mom's phone for this reason and also because Google voice typing is effortless and extremely accurate for those times when you are lazy or distracted. Thanks! (Typed with jb keyboard.)

    Excellent
Using this keyboard as I type. I love this keyboard better than the stock Galaxy S3 keyboard or SwiftKey3...it combines the best of both. Swipe and autocorrect with predictive text. I want android 4.2 but since carriers & manufacturers are slow at releasing updates I still have 4.1.1 and I did not like any other keyboards. Download it

    Great except number keypad
I love the keyboard. It is more accurate then regular swype. Can use regular typing and Google voice text. The one thing I wish all keyboards would have is the option to change the numeric keypad to a ten digit keypad. A great example is the numeric keypad built into swift key. I like this keyboard here though in every way except please put an option to change the keypad. Its just so much easier to use a ten digit keypad when typing numbers then having to go across the top of the keyboard.

    Almost there...
When I type too fast, it starts off with the last word from the last message....Annoying. Also, misses simple corrections sometimes... Again, annoying. But it does do justice most of the time, and I like it. It just needs work. And more themes, at least.
  • Blake Czapiga
    I love it so much!
This keyboard is so much better than the swype keyboard I was using. The swype keyboard is just slow and annoying. I would use the Samsung keypad, but that is really annoying too because I hate the way it does autocorrect. This keyboard is fast, it has the swype function and it has great autocorrect! I love this keyboard and I hope everyone who has a problem with their keyboard gives it a try.

    Perfect fix
I seldom if ever write reviews but this app deserves some glory. I have the s4, went from the iPhone, and LOVE the s4. Only problem was I couldn't get the phone to prompt auto correct with the space bar (which you think would be in the settings - I can assure you, its not). I just downloaded this app and it does EXACTLY what I need it to do so now I can text just as quickly as I did on the iPhone which now makes this the perfect phone. DOWNLOAD THIS APP AND MAKE YOUR LIFE AND PHONE EASIER!

    Like the keypad alot but....
It doesn't pull me away from SwiftKey for many reasons, SwiftKey has there direction pad setup like a d-pad, the number's are arranged like a dial pad instead of a long row, but they also have number's on the top row & can be long pressed with customizable press time. SwiftKey flow will be out soon, I'll make my decision there. These are imo the 2 best keyboard's you can buy.

    Almost Perfect!
So even though it is kinda laggy and a bit annoying, it is still mii preferred keyboard and every time I change it and try a new one I always come back to this one. So 4 stars it is! Just fix the lagging and that annoying stutter it has ever so often.
  • Zach Akers
Exactly what I was looking for
With the new update to 4.1"jellybean", I found that the keyboard not only seemed a little bit laggy, but also lost its auto correct. Now with this keyboard I dont feel a millisecond of lag and every word I type is flawless. This is a prime example of something done right. Now my S3 is perfect.

    WICKED!!!
I tried the swift key 3 and thought it was really good but the fact that you really don't even have to type with this one just swipe your finger or thumb in my case (lol) around the keypad and it interprets what I'm typing is awesome extremely accurate.... Great job :)
