    Works. No extra permissions
Used this today and now I'd not be without it! One enhancement I'd love is a sort or sort & filter, but even without those it's a marvelous little app. Ignore the ratings from people who can't find the menu button on their own device....irrelevant if you know where yours is.

    Basic grocery list
On the black screen issue, for my LG android I just pressed the menu button on my phone (the one made into the phone already) and the menu popped up. Works great for a basic grocery list with no frills😀

Best app ever for grocery list
It's simple, effective, and to the point. I can add my groceries and check off as I shop along. I tried others and came back to this one. It makes my life easier.

    Simple and fast
Easy to load and easy to use. I use it for all kinds of things not just groceries if you want something without the bells and whistles this is it. Highly recommend you try it.

    Works great on Galaxy S5
This is a very simple, clean app that requests no permissions when you download it. For those S5 users who can't find the "menu" button that is noted after swiping the blank screen, press and hold the lower left corner of your phone - that's the menu button. A menu will pop-up along the bottom that allows you to add items, clear all or clear checked. Exactly what I needed!

    Simple and amazing
Doesn't require permissions. no notifications, no categorizations, no saving previous entries, no bulk, just a simple app, a simple list, just what I wanted. Those that only see a blank screen don't know that the menu button is either on their screen or a hardwired button. Don't go changing. I love this app.

I have the galaxy s5 and I love the fact that I can check it off as I go I'll be putting it to the test tomorrow when I go grocery shopping wish there was a way of adding the things as you go so you can keep track of how much you spend or if there is i haven't found it yet and for those users with the s5 that says there is no menu button it's the 2 lil squares on bottom left screen that is the menu button

    Almost Perfect
Maybe i'm missing something, but I would like to have the option to add in sequence. I put my list in order of how I shop thru my store. For example produce comes first. If i forgot to add a produce item at the head of the list, when i add it, it is at bottom. Would b great if i could do a long press on an item & be able to add from there, or update an existing item. Used 1st time yesterday & love it. Guess I'll write out a complete list in order & erase then start over, eventually. Otherwise love it.

    Would give 5 star
You need to have a way to alphabetized products. So fs r is all I see wrong w loo th it. Just downloaded it.

    Excellent with one suggestion
This is great. My only suggestion would be an additional dialog box on the erase all button. I was making up my list and trying to delete only one entry but ended up hitting the erase all button by accident. A drop down type list may also be more efficient than the left to right buttons and the add item button may be more efficient on the right instead of the left, you add more than delete in my experience. This is great, thanks so much.

As the name says it is a nice and simple
The modern version of the shopping list that I used to write on the little scraps paper except - I don't lose it, haven't forgotten it, don't need to decipher my writing, don't need a pen while shopping and I just keep a running list as I run out of things. Sometimes simpler is so much better.

    Simple, but needs some improvements
I like the simplicity of the app. But would suggest a few improvements. 1. Get rid of silly menu. Just place button directly on screen. 2. Check the input for empty strings.
  • Lee Ann Mills
I love this app. Very simple to use. I have a HTC Android phone. I got the black screen, just touched it in the right corner and it came up. I've used another app but I like this one much better.
  • Doug Keller
Just like the names says "Simple"
Exactly what I wanted. Feature packed no. When your grocery shopping, your in a hurry. No time to play with other grocery list apps. Just open it up and check 'em off. Adding an item is quick and simple too.

This is a great app and I love it. Simple, straightforward and to the point. Helps me do what I need to do without any BS. The only thing I might do is add some way of adding to the list without having to use the menu key then touching the text box to bring up the keyboard. I'd love to save a couple of key strokes.

    Simple list
A Black screen... so I swiped my finger around and a helptip popped up. Oh, okay. Hit the menu button. So, I guess the other reviewers were too lazy to even swipe their finger on their screen. Simple & easy app. I like it. 2 thumbs up.
  • Erica G.
    Simple, easy
I've clicked the 'clear all' button by mistake more than once. It'd be nice if it would give a message confirming before clearing all.
  • Steven Steel
    Simple and to the point
The average rating of this app is so low because people don't understand that the black screen they see is just the empty list and that the menu button they bave to press is one of the phone's two function keys, the other being the "back" soft key... Truly a display of tech knowledge in these reviews XD

    Great app
Uninstalled it but read review by becky and found out how to access the menu for s5. 5 stars for this app. I use it for everything i need to organize
  • Melanie Moore
Simple. Easy to use. Yes there is a blank black screen. Yes it says to press the menu button and there isn't one. You press the menu button on your phone, not on screen in the app. Pretty simple to figure out.
