As an avid astronomer, have used this for years and it works great on android. Most useful for figuring out nights when I'm not going to get any sleep :-)
UK not found
Cracking idea but like most apps us over in England have been left of the search :-(
Good app, needs chart legend
While the app itself works very well, it would be very nice to have a legend for the chart explaining the different colors (as on the Web version)
What an awesome app! Clearskies Clock is one of the most valuable tools in amateur astronomy. The only thing that could make this a 5 star app would be the option to enter a custom observing site. Mr. Danko has made some custom sites from individuals. Other than that, excellent app.

Seeing conditions for astronomy
Gives night sky seeing conditions. Same as web site only location services finds present location.
It works... Many thanks
The location finder is a little buggy. The keyboard doesn't seem to come up. Here's the workaround, if you type your city somewhere else and then copy it from there. Come back to the app, long press in the search box and then paste your city and then search it will usually find your city. Mine was a small city, found it in a sec. Thank you for the great app.
Require location services wireless networks?
This app a works fine if you wireless networks enabled. But when you disable it and restart the app then it showes newfoundland. And it also prevents you from seeing details or the map of your favorites. Please let it work without GPS and location services on. UPDATE: for some reason is now working this location services off.
Learn to work something before you knock it.
Works fine for me, for anyone saying that its broken. Try and do a little experimenting with the tabs first. There is a option to enter your zip code. I swear people these days need someone to hold their hand for everything. I will be donating as soon as I can. This app is great don't listen to these negative people.
Found my location perfectly. And for those complaining that it doesn't work in Europe, try reading descriptions before installing apps!
Amazing app saves me time if conditions are not good to set up my telescope found my location no problem been using since the website pre-app

It works exactly as it should
It says I am in Calgary, and I am. I am not sure if this app only pulls from Canadian cities which may explain why some other reviews show newfoundland when they live on the east coast of the us. That would be the closest Canadian place to them. So if you live in Canada, this should work perfectly, otherwise, for take your chance.
Favorite Astronomy App
I have used this application in various forms for many years now. It is an essential tool for anyone planning astronomy events. Works flawlessly and is Very accurate for my locations.
Now i do feel bad. I triee it again after my poor review and it seems to be working as it should before. I am very sorry if i mislead anyone. If it keeps working as it should i will donate.
Good sky info with caveats
In general I'm happy with this, though it does poorly if you don't have good GPS signal or are outside of North America.
Great app From the time it downloaded to the time it had loaded in all my local stations was about a minute and a half Easy to search. It's exactly what I wanted
Have been using for a few years now on phone and tablet and performs well. Mostly how I use clearsky these days. I remember using the full web site on a blackberry ages ago! This is much better....
6 stars for great info, -1 stars for awful design
Great for checking the weather when planning to view the night sky, as it always has accurate info, but the design is quite repulsive.
Figure out how to work the app before giving a bad review!
Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Loved the website now loved (past tense) the app
Updated trying it again. Working for now. Update: worked for a week now can't find any Listings closer that 45 miles) uninstall. It found my location and a preset site 10 miles away. Just worked. Does what it is supposed to do, no more, no less. I like that. Not loaded down with 50 useless features.

Works fine for Samsung Exhibit II 4G
Simply provides the Clear Sky Chart and does it well for me. It seems to pull location data (Oklahoma) with Internet, not GPS. It will be 5 Star application if the cloud map can be shown as well. And add on the "Clear Sky Alert" (via notification or email/SM) with specified time and sky condition will definitely make it worth buying!
Location worked for me
This app worked perfectly for me. It didn't have any trouble detecting my location. The complainers are probably people who have disabled Google location services, then can't figure out why their phone doesn't know where they are.
