    Great app..wish it was integrated...
...wish it was integrated with one or more of the popular Podcast players (e.g., Beyond Pod). It's strange that none of the good Podcast players include speed change (some are compatible with Presto, a paid app similar to this one), because to get a good Podcast player w/audio speed changes, you have to pay for two apps, which is usually more than $10-12. Yet iPod's stock player does this natively. This app can still be used to play back your podcasts, but you have to find them individually on the SD card, and most of the better podcast apps store the podcasts in folders with unrecognizable titles.

    Excellent; Perfect
It's all you could want for this type of application. It's great that you can go into folders and music libraries, play any MP3, slow the speed for transcribing purposes, move the position to replay any part, get A-B segments repeated, and so forth. Most of all, it works perfectly. Aside from all of the above, when you slow the speed down the voice still sounds the same. I tried the free version and bought the Pro version almost immediately, as soon as I realized how good this application is.

    Great App
App works great. Slows entire song file not just a portion of song. Still sounds good at 50% speed. Been playing for over 30 years, used to use cassette tapes to do this. Great for beginners or advanced players. Still can't believe its a free app. Great job!

Use it more than any other app. Note to older phone users- changing audio speeds take a lot of CPU power. My older single core phone barely ran this app (not able multi task). Works smooth on my Inspire

Great App. Almost 5 stars ;)
I love everything about the app. Two things to make this even better. When you have a Start and End point and you let it loop, how about letting the audio fade in and out for a smoother transition? Lastly, in addition to the percentage reading of the audio speed, how about BPM? But overall, great App! Good App to use for dance classes when speeding the tempo down during rehearsals.

    Awesome App!
This app is amazing! I've been trying to find a way to play songs at a slower speed so I can learn them on drums. This is the answer! Would have five stars, but there is a slight "doubling" sound due to the pitch corrector that could be fixed. Pending that, it would get 5 stars no problem. Either way, I will definitely be using it daily to practice new songs I'm learning. Will probably purchase the Pro version too when I have the spare cash. Us musicians pay for good work when we can, LIKE EVERYONE SHOULD! lol

    Very pleasantly surprised
I have looked for an app for a long time to do what my guitar trainer did. This not only exceeds that but it is so easy to use. These things are always a little dicy with a learning curve. Not this app. It slows the song down to a snails crawl, making it easy for even myself to learn hard guitar passages. This is an A+ all the way around. Open it, point it to the song folder and load the song. Select the start and stop points with a click, select the speed (all with a single click control) and your ready to learn.

    Best App ever!
Yes there's a few ads but they don't bother me. This thing does exactly what it says it's going to do. I'm using a galaxy s4 with tmobile and have had no problems thus far.

    Awesome app.....
Wow, This is perfect. I have been looking for this for some time. I searched for a 'transcribe' app and waded through lots. This app is very well thought out and works beautifully. I almost blew a hundred quid odd on a hardware version. Glad i didn't:)

    Ideal for learning fast guitar
I am very impressed with this app. It absolutely delivers. Slow metal/thrash guitar tracks down by up to fifty percent without affecting pitch to help you nail your playing alongside them. Gradually bring them up to speed. My guitar playing has gotten so much better with the help of this app. Will buy the pro version.

    Highly useful app!
I use Audacity to do this sort of thing on my PC; nice to have something portable like this! Main issue I have is getting ahold of the left region selector... the bottom one is no problem at all, but that one at the top of the screen is nearly impossible to manage. Possibly a dead spot on my Nook Color's screen? I'd purchase the payed version if I could handle the app with more ease.

I USED to use this app all the time to practice my violin & mandolin. Can't believe it's free. I also can't believe it doesn't work any longer after I updated the OS on my Samsung Galaxy S4 to Android 4.4.2. Ever since this update Audio Speed Changer is unable to start, even after rebooting the phone & reinstalling the app. I hope this bug is fixed for this great app in the future! In the meantime I'm forced to use not-as-good alternative apps.

    Great idea! BUT
Too bad every track skips! Maybe it's a setting but could not find it? Mp3,wave,etc they skip. Could be ICS 4.0.4.
