App Reviews for iBall Andi 4.5P Glitter

  • Robert Krzaczek
    Perfection
I absolutely love this, and can't recommend it highly enough. Every day I have a new background on my phone, and coming from the APOD site, they are beautiful and unique and often something to discuss, every single day. I'm not sure about what people say is wrong with settings and so forth in other reviews, for me the settings work exactly right and the app doesn't run down my battery or anything. If it ever did that, those bugs must all be fixed now. Get this, you won't regret it.

    It's true it's working again
Paid for an early version happy to support the developer. Version in 2014 was great though always had to manually update for widgets to work. Sadly it stopped working in Dec 2016 for a couple of weeks. It seems to be back now though not updated. Not sure what to make of this.

    Just beautiful
I love seeing the new images every day. The app makes it really easy to view all the images and their explanations. For those struggling to get their background to change every day, ensure you haven't closed the app. I find that so long as it's on the list of recent apps it works. If I swipe it off the list it then fails to update until I next open the app.

    Nifty little app
It is delightful to find 'astronomy picture of the day' as your phone's wallpaper everyday with widget to display the short title. I have installed this app on my near and dear one's phones to develop interest about this unfathomable and mysterious universe. Thanks to the developer to bring APOD to our phones homescreen.!

    Wake lock/new widgets
..Long time user. I remember buying the donate one back in the day. Thanks for the continued development Sam. / Niiiiiiice thanks for fixing the wake lock issue

    Nearly 5 stars
Still hasn't fixed the problem where clicking the notification shows the last picture I was viewing rather than the one in the notification, then pressing back exits the app. It makes the notification worthless.

    Beautiful and easy
This app is very easy to use. I've followed APOD for years, but the chance to have it at my fingertips and to easily use its amazing photos as my Droid's wallpaper with just a touch made both the site and my phone that much better. Question, though. Whenever I click to share one of these, it always uses the link for the previous day instead. Is it me/my phone, or the app?

    App abandoned?
I thought it was just me when my pictures hadn't updated in a few weeks, but it looks like it's happening to everyone. Several are saying the developer hasn't responded to anyone or posted anything in ages... I hope the dev isn't planning on ditching this app, it's one of the few good ones I've found out there and I've had this app for years. I love the pictures.

    APOD
Love the surprise each morning of a new gorgeous and sometimes very interesting APOD wallpaper. I got to say though, really preferred the earlier version. It seemed presented better and more consistent in function. Lately, many days the photo isn't saved to my SD card or the wallpaper isn't changed. I'm using a Motorola Moto G.

    Seems to be working again...
I had the same problem as many others, where the pictures hadn't updated since approximately December 20th. As of January 11th, it seems to have added all the missed pictures, and is automatically setting the wallpaper to the latest picture again.

Xiaomi's MIUI doesn't seem to support
I recently moved to android from WP. In my Nokia it works like a charm, new wallpaper set automatically everyday. But in my MI 5 it doesn't change the wallpaper automatically. It's still a great app nevertheless, and I hope it'll support my phone in future.
